Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records using accounting software.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and organize supporting documentation for audits and tax filings.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and account inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
