We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Arlington, Virginia. Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare general ledger entries.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports for management review.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
