Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations for bank accounts and general ledgers
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision and timeliness
- Support month-end closing procedures and journal entry maintenance
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and analysis
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and documentation
- Identify process improvements and implement efficiency enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and basic tax concepts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks certification or equivalent software experience preferred
