Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and monthly reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with internal and external audits, preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing graduation).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or internship background in accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
