Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconcile bank statements
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Support audit preparation by organizing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) to streamline financial operations
- Contribute to budget forecasting and variance analysis reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
