Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and analysis
- Support accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
- Perform general ledger maintenance and transaction recording
- Conduct bank reconciliations and account balance verifications
- Assist with tax documentation preparation and compliance tasks
- Contribute to internal control audits and process improvements
- Participate in client accounting meetings and financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

- Valid Michigan driver's license for occasional client visits
