As an Entry Level Accountant, you will support the senior accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a solid foundation for your future in the accounting industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Month-End & Year-End Close: Support the accounting team in preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and closing the books accurately and on time.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and ensure timely payment while managing customer billing and collections.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure cash balances are accurate and identify discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and regulatory reporting as required.
  • General Ledger Support: Maintain the general ledger, code transactions, and ensure proper documentation is filed.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors by providing requested schedules and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required. CPA candidates or those currently studying for the CPA exam are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is essential. Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) is a plus.
