Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger reconciliations.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to the general ledger.
- Prepare and maintain fixed asset schedules and assist with internal and external audits.
- Assist senior accountants with month-end close procedures and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a CPA/CMA).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and general ledger concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
