What You Will Do:
We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to our success. In this role, you will work closely with senior accountants to ensure the accuracy of our financial records and support our clients with their fiscal needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Support the tax preparation team by gathering necessary documentation and schedules.
- Conduct routine audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a CPA/Accounting certification).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and functions).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and adapt to changing technologies.
