Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate monthly financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by compiling necessary schedules and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist in the resolution of any discrepancies.
- Manage expense reports and assist in the preparation of tax documentation and audit schedules.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates or interns welcome).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
