Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Assist with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Support audit engagements by gathering documentation and schedules
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting for clients
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data processing
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (3.2+ GPA preferred)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
