Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Support internal audits and compliance documentation requirements
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables and special projects
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, basic formulas)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial controls
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license for occasional client meetings in Ohio
