Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements with 99.9% accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain vendor/client records
- Assist in quarterly and annual tax preparation processes
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives through data analysis
- Implement process improvements in accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA candidates preferred)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience including internships or co-ops
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
