Responsibilities
- Perform accurate bookkeeping and financial data entry in QuickBooks and accounting software
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders
- Support audit preparations and documentation requests
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor communications
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Contribute process improvements to enhance financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks/ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid Texas driver's license (for occasional client meetings)
