Responsibilities
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Support accounts payable/receivable processes and transaction recording
- Contribute to tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for transaction processing
- Participate in internal audits and financial controls implementation
- Generate financial reports and variance analyses for management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Basic understanding of tax preparation procedures
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Previous internship or part-time accounting experience preferred
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software knowledge
