Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to accuracy and compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process vendor invoices
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support audit preparations and documentation requests
- Maintain organized financial records in accounting software systems
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Sage preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or relevant experience
- CPA candidate or willingness to pursue certification
