Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage complex reconciliations for GL accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes ensuring timely and accurate payment cycles
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal control procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic planning
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with minimal supervision
- Implement process improvements using accounting software and automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and complex reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders
