Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliation processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with commentary for executive stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial systems
- Develop and implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on financial best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing projects
