Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Perform bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Manage expense reports and vendor invoice processing
- Conduct data entry in accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle)
- Participate in internal audits and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial projects
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent coursework)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting concepts
- Excellent attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and document management abilities
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
- QuickBooks experience preferred but not required
