Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow optimization
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) monthly
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for multiple entities
- Implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls
- Collaborate with tax professionals during audit preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Xero accounting platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros)
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (TX state-specific)
- Proven track record of multi-client portfolio management
- Exceptional analytical skills with zero-error tolerance
