Responsibilities
- Perform monthly account reconciliations for bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain vendor records
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and schedules
- Conduct data entry in accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Monitor expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
- Contribute to month-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or professional experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP)
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
