Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain general ledger integrity
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with GAAP and state regulations
- Lead audits and collaborate with external auditors for seamless reviews
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
