Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory compliance documentation
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with strict attention to detail
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts in QuickBooks Enterprise
- Collaborate with senior team members on client audits and tax preparation
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial data accuracy
- Participate in cross-departmental financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to numerical detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- QuickBooks or ERP software exposure preferred
