Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Perform general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivable records.
- Support the payroll process by collecting time sheets and verifying data.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory compliance documents.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) to track financial data.
- Collaborate with the senior accounting team to identify process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
