Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly reports for management.
- Support the tax department with the collection of financial data and preparation of schedules.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (0-2 years of experience).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
