Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliation activities
- Prepare financial statements and management reports under supervision
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial data management
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
- Comply with GAAP standards and internal controls protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Relevant internship or academic project experience preferred
