Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to vendors.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and credit card accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
- General Ledger: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting transactions and updating account balances.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all financial documentation is organized, stored securely, and compliant with company policies.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and spreadsheet tools to manage data efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with the finance team.
