Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end closing processes and reconcile accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement and improve accounting procedures for efficiency
- Analyze financial data and prepare variance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years of internship or part-time accounting experience preferred
