Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation
- Manage client tax filing preparation under supervision
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews
- Learn and implement QuickBooks and accounting software systems
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive learning attitude and willingness to ask questions
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional client meetings)
