Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily reconciliations of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in our accounting software.
- Prepare and analyze basic financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams with data entry and verification.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
