Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements for small to medium-sized businesses
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation under CPA supervision
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and financial analysis
- Contribute to internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proactive problem-solving approach and eagerness to learn
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional client meetings
