Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with accounts payable processing, invoice verification, and vendor communications
- Support financial statement preparation under GAAP guidelines
- Contribute to month-end closing procedures and journal entry preparation
- Assist in maintaining accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Participate in internal audits and compliance documentation processes
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and accounting software
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
