Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
- Support tax filing and compliance documentation
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) for data entry
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial data
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Valid California driver's license (client site visits required)
- US work authorization required
