Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports under supervision
- Manage vendor invoices and employee expense reports
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Support audits by gathering documentation and preparing schedules
- Learn and utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Adhere to GAAP principles and company accounting policies
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
