Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain organized financial records
- Support tax preparation activities including data entry and document management
- Participate in internal audits and compliance documentation
- Utilize Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and basic accounting cycles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
