Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support tax preparation activities including data entry and document organization
- Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles with attention to detail
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for financial record management
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years of internship or academic accounting experience preferred
- CPA exam candidates strongly encouraged to apply
