Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
- Assist with monthly/quarterly closing processes and reconciliations
- Support tax preparation and documentation for individual and business clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for financial data management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of tax preparation principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
