Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Assist with quarterly and annual audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and federal regulations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Process payroll and tax filings for government and non-profit clients
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial modeling and variance analysis
- Support month-end closing procedures and documentation preparation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
