Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision using QuickBooks
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation
- Contribute to financial statement compilation under supervision
- Manage digital filing systems for financial documentation
- Coordinate with auditors during compliance reviews
- Utilize Excel for data analysis and report generation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or experience preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of tax preparation software a plus
- Valid New Mexico driver's license required
