Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
- Assist in month-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support audits by compiling documentation and preparing schedules
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and trends
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in numerical work
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
