Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and tax documents
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis projects
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Ohio residency or willingness to relocate
