Responsibilities
- Perform monthly account reconciliations for bank, credit card, and ledger accounts
- Assist with preparation and review of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain vendor/client records
- Support tax preparation activities including documentation organization
- Conduct data entry in QuickBooks and Excel with zero-error tolerance
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal control procedures
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2023 graduates encouraged)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
