Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting preparation
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks proficiency preferred)
- Support tax preparation and filing processes under supervision
- Generate financial reports and analyze data for operational insights
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
