Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Prepare sales tax filings and support annual audit processes
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with team to ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of Arizona state tax regulations preferred
