Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for client reviews
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records in compliance with GAAP
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial workflows
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) for daily transaction processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting software platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
