Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements and general ledger entries
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting deadlines
- Learn and apply GAAP principles in real-world scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, VLOOKUP)
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
