Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with the general ledger to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and supporting schedules for external audits.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
- Generate comprehensive financial reports for management review and forecasting purposes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience (required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
