Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor managementPrepare financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP and tax compliance
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license (for occasional off-site audits)
