Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for diverse clients
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and general ledger
- Support tax preparation processes including individual and corporate returns
- Conduct audit fieldwork and documentation reviews
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor communications
- Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software for data entry
- Adhere to GAAP and IRS compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA exam eligibility or active pursuit preferred
- Valid California driver's license for client site visits
