Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles with attention to detail
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting or financial internship experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP and tax compliance principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
